The unique opportunity to see the reaction of the audience was given by our seats being behind the stage. A show where the crowd were so much a part of the experience, I have never experienced. More energy into a show, I have never seen a band put. The audience into the show, no special lighting effects, lasers, or pyrotechnics were needed to get. So many songs were being sung along with and they all KNEW the lyrics. Eddie Vedder connects with the audience in a way that few frontmen can, the fans feel the meaning in his lyrics. A real person more than a rock star, Vedder is. I have been to hundreds of concerts over the years but never seen. A three-hour show flew by with 2 mini intermissions. The crowd would have stayed as long as they would have played, I think. The best concert I have ever attended. The omission of the songs "Jeremy" and "Evenflow" from the setlist was the only disappointment for me.
